After twenty years of friendship, two colleagues, Michele Conforta Mencuccini
and Mary Helen Hall decided to merge their passion for creative design
and quilting with the conception of The Conforta Group (Conforta is the Italian word for "comfort"). Together, they combined
their degrees and experience in the fields of architecture, accounting,
real estate, and education to develop a business philosophy: Quilting
with Comfort.
Like so many other creative individuals,
Michele ("Mike" to her friends) and Mary Helen have found
that their crafting favorites and abilities have evolved over the years.
"A love of creating and crafting has carried us through the years and
has given us a way to share time and talent with friends and family."

from infants to college students."
